There are a lot of articles about must have clothing, hype items, or seasonal trends. This is not one of those. This list is about pieces I actually bought, used for years in some cases, and keep reaching for almost every day.
I was not expecting anything special when I bought most of these items. Some were purchased out of necessity, others out of curiosity. What they all have in common is that they became part of my daily rotation. These are clothes and accessories that work all day, all year, and fit easily into real life.
If you are looking to build a simple, functional wardrobe with pieces that last and are easy to wear, this guide is for you.
Arc’teryx Atom Hoody

I know everyone talks about this jacket and there is a lot of hype around it. Still, it is one of those cases where the hype is justified.
I have owned my Atom Hoody for a couple of years now and I still take it everywhere. It works almost all year depending on how you layer it. It is lightweight, easy to pack, and does not take much space in a backpack. You can wear it casually, while traveling, or even for light outdoor activities.
If you need one versatile lightweight jacket, this should definitely be on your list.

Weekday Loose Fit Zip Hoodie

A grey hoodie is always a good idea. This one from Weekday surprised me in a very good way.
I wear it a lot because it is easy to combine with almost anything. The fit is relaxed without looking sloppy, and it is comfortable enough to wear all day. It works for running errands, traveling, or just everyday life.
Simple, affordable, and very wearable.

Uniqlo AIRism T-Shirt

If you have owned this T shirt, you already know how good it is. If you have not, you probably need one.
This is one of those basics you end up wearing almost every day. The fabric feels solid, the fit is clean, and it holds up well after many washes. It works on its own or as a base layer.
An everyday essential that delivers way more than its price suggests.

Volcom Jeans

Coming from a skateboard background, Volcom was one of those must have brands when I was a kid. Over the years, I kept coming back to their pants.
Their jeans fit well, are comfortable, and most importantly, the quality is solid. They are easy to wear and easy to find in different fits depending on your style. These are jeans you can actually move in and wear all day without thinking about them.
COS Rider Straight Leg Jeans

These are basic jeans that work perfectly for everyday use. The cut is clean, the sizing is consistent, and the overall look is timeless.
They are one of those pieces that quietly become a staple in your wardrobe. COS also offers them in several good colors, which makes it easy to rotate or stick to your preferred style.

The North Face Glenclyffe Urban Low

Where I live, it snows every year, but not enough to justify heavy winter boots all the time. I needed something more versatile for rainy and snowy days.
I bought these more out of necessity, but they ended up being one of the best purchases of the year. They are comfortable, functional, and work with most outfits. If you want something slightly outdoors inspired without committing to full mountain boots, these are a great option.

Summer is still a bit away, but it is worth keeping an eye on these.
They are incredibly comfortable and perfect for many situations. Walking around, post workout wear, or casual days. They are lightweight, easy to wear, and available in many colors.
At first, they might be hard to imagine in an outfit, but once you wear them, it becomes much easier to style them naturally.
Adidas BW Army Shoes

A classic Adidas shoe that works with almost everything.
They are comfortable, clean, and slightly elegant without trying too hard. A great alternative if you like minimalist sneakers but do not want to pay designer prices.

Casio AQ230A

If you are into watches, this is a great piece to start with.
I recently started getting more interested in watches, and this was one of the first ones I bought. It is relatively affordable, the design is timeless, and it is easy to maintain. Being Casio, it is also easy to find watchmakers who can work on it.
New Era Corduroy Cap

I bought this cap during the holidays and I love it.
It looks great in person and reminds me of the Ralph Lauren collaboration version, but at a much more reasonable price. If you like caps and want something a bit different, this is an easy recommendation.

Klattermusen Algir Bag

I bought this bag some time ago and at first I felt a bit eccentric about the price.
Now, I can say I do not regret it at all. I carry it almost daily and it is extremely practical. There are different sizes depending on what you need, and the quality is excellent. One of those purchases that ends up feeling completely justified over time.

If you are building a wardrobe focused on comfort, versatility, and long term use, starting with pieces like these makes a lot of sense. They are easy to wear, easy to combine, and proven to work day after day.
Sometimes the best purchases are not the most exciting ones at first, but the ones you keep reaching for without thinking about it.
